Mukhvak© is an initiative launched by Atamras Inc. Which is a registered US based domestic non-profit organization that is founded on the principles of Guru Nanak Dev Jee Maharaj "Naam Japo, Kirt Karo, Vand Chako" {Keep god in your thoughts, earn an honest living, give to charity and care for others}. Atamras provides a global virtual platform by offering a wide array of Sikhi based resources and knowledge base to all those interested in the Gursikhi way of life.
Mukhvak provides a Daily Hukamnama service with instant access to Guru's Royal Decree from all five Takhts of the Sikh Religion namely Akal Takht Sahib (Amritsar); Takht Keshgarh Sahib (Anandpur Sahib); Takht Damdama Sahib (Talwandi Sabo); Takht Patna Sahib (Bihar) and Takht Hazur Sahib (Nanded, Maharashtra).
Mukhvak is a unique, easy to use web-based, Mobile App (iOS, Android) and Smart TV application that offers multiple distinctive features to its users the details of which are described below.
Mukhvak© was conceptualized with the key purpose of making Daily Hukamnama Sahib available and easily accessible to Sangats across the globe whilst making sure that GurooSaaaheb's Royal Decree could be read and understood in multiple languages. Mukhvak's SMART TV App gives Gurudwaras across the globe the ability to display their Daily Hukamnama Sahib on SMART TVs with translation and transliteration options available in English, Hindi, Punjabi, Spanish and Urdu languages.
Mukhvak offers its users the ability to read, search and explore the Holy Scriptures of the Sikh Religion thereby creating a singular tool that Sangats across the globe can effectively use to enhance their knowledge and understanding of Gurbani. These include Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee (Adi Granth) - the central religious scripture of Sikhism which is the eternal guru for Sikhs; Dasam Granth - the holy scripture of the Tenth Guru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Jee; Bhai Gurdas Jee Varaan - 40 varaaan(chapters) written by Bhai Gurdas Jee; Amrit Keertan - a collection of verses from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee sung in the Sikh congregations; Bhai Nand Lal Jee Vaaran - hymns written by Bhai Nand Lal Jee as well as other Rehatnaamas & Panthic Sources. Mukhvak's gurbani search feature is powered by BaniDB which is a single, universally accessible Gurbani Database for Sikh websites and applications.
The users of Mukhvak have the ability to print Shabads in various formats, styles and fonts using our unique Print Shabad feature. You can customize, share and print the Daily Hukamnama or a Shabad of your choice in many different border frames, font styles and languages (English, Hindi, Punjabi, Spanish and Urdu). There are many creative ways in which you can use these beautiful and versatile formats that Mukhvak has tailor-made for you. You can frame and install these Shabad prints on the walls of your home, these framed prints could serve as a unique gift for memorable occasions such as weddings, birthdays and anniversaries or you could place a framed Shabad or Hukam on your desk/workspace that serves as a special message/inspiration for you.
